Seems to have quite a bit of recoil (compared to 5.56), presumably due to the round, but also the exceptionally light weight of the arm. Probably a good price to pay for the more comfortable carry. 4.5 pounds is very impressive.

I love PSA and own an AK-V. I also own a Kusa KP-9. I shoot them against each other and they both have pluses and minuses. I like the LRBHO and Scorpion mags on the AK-V. I like the internal folding mechanism and Vityaz vibes of the KP-9. I must say the KP-9 is my favorite. It has a bit lighter recoil, it's a half pound lighter and and easier to maneuver.

One of the other guys mentioned V x density.. but I would like to point out.. a friend of mine, knows little about firearms and he wanted a.308 with a 22” barrel.. I recommend to him having a longer barrel would cause more drag on the projectile and would counter the pressure you’re trying to build. In other words there has to be a balance between twist and length in relation to the caliber being used..

Everything you just said but substitute .44 spc and .44 mag for .38 and .357. Yours looks fantastic, I will have to check out that stock at least. The length of pull out of the box is a bit long for my taste so hopefully it is shorter.

Meh. That JMac RSA-MP5K adapter has to be installed with a mallet and removed with a punch. With tolerances that tight, you won't be able to field strip the weapon by hand. I got the Mojave 9 to pair with a Kimber R7 Mako Tactical for the express purpose of becoming my house gun. With the Mako properly broken in, running it in the short config with Winchester Super Suppressed 147gr FMJ subsonic I got lots of jamming caused by failure to run the slide fully back. After 100 rounds of that, I ran it with G9 Defense 126gr subsonic without cleaning the Mako or the piston and it ran flawlessly with zero malfunctions. It just didn't like the Winchester, which was also noticeably louder. Shooting in an indoor range in the short configuration , it was quiet enough to shoot comfortably with no ear plugs with the lower power G9 ammo without any after effects to my hearing. Just exactly what I was hoping for as a home defense platform.

Spectacular-looking NightHawk Hi-Power (2015?). Almost looks too good to take out and shoot. Just purchased a used one (DOB 2012) a couple months ago and have 7 more days of wait time on a 2nd one (DOB 1976). Must decide which one or whether to have upgraded and to what extent. How do you rank the various gunsmiths that do this work? The Hi-Power custom shops I see most are MK3, BHSprings, Robar, and Yost. What distinguishes each from the other; or are they all artists with their own special touch?

Also I have a Wolfman I use on my 7" DD PDW in 300blk. I always use it in long configuration wirh a wipe. Does the ODB perform better than the Wolfman as described on subsonic 300blk? Thanks! I want to keep my Wolfman as a dedicated 9mm can an pick up a proper. 30 cal can for my .300blk and AK's as well as maybe a .308 in the future
